Kelowna, BC —February 3, 2025 — The Kelowna Apple Triathlon, one of Canada’s premier multisport events, is proud to announce it will host the 2025 Age Group National Championships for Sprint, Standard, and Aquabike disciplines. This prestigious event will take place in the heart of Kelowna, a city renowned for its scenic beauty and rich triathlon history.

The 2025 edition promises to be a landmark event, bringing together Canada’s top age-group athletes to compete in challenging and picturesque courses set against the stunning backdrop of Okanagan Lake and Kelowna’s vibrant cityscape.

“We are thrilled to return to one of Canada’s most coveted triathlon venues for Sprint, Standard, and Aquabike National Championships,” said Phil Dunne, Chief Executive Officer of Triathlon Canada. “This is a tremendous opportunity to bring Canada’s age group community together with our next generation of high-performance athletes lining up for the Western Regional Championship. I can’t think of a better location to hold these key events on our domestic race schedule than Kelowna, which has a rich history in staging world-leading triathlon events. We hope to see our community together on the start line this summer.”

In addition to the Age Group National Championships, the event will also feature the Western Development Regional Championship, providing an exciting platform for Canada’s emerging elite athletes to showcase their talents alongside the country’s top age-group competitors.
