Unlock Your Speed: Learn About Aerodynamics with GiBLI
In cycling and triathlon, speed isn’t just about power—it’s about efficiency. Aerodynamics plays a crucial role in reducing drag, and small adjustments to your position and equipment can allow you to ride faster without increasing any effort. Normally this advanced aerodynamic data was reserved for expensive wind tunnel testing, but a company based out of Vancouver is now bringing the wind tunnel to you!
The GiBLI G10 sensor takes the guesswork out of aerodynamics by providing real-time CdA (coefficient of drag) data. This allows you to fine-tune your body position, helmet choice, and bike setup for maximum efficiency. With GiBLI, you can ride smarter, not harder—saving up to 10-15 minutes in a long-course triathlon just by improving your aerodynamics.
GiBLI’s has been awarded the EUROBIKE Start-Up Award, Taipei Cycle d&I award, and is currently a finalist of the prestigious international STA Group Sports Tech Award – Category Start-Up.
We’re excited to partner with the GiBLI to showcase how their amazing device measures your coefficient of drag (CdA) in real time, helping you optimize your position and equipment for peak performance.
Join Our Upcoming FREE Webinar with GiBLI on Thursday April 17th!
We’re offering an exclusive webinar with GiBLI for our Triathlon BC community, where we’ll dive into the fundamentals of aerodynamics, and explain how CdA impacts your performance. Whether you’re aiming for a new personal best or competing at an age group world championship, understanding and improving your aerodynamics can make a big difference.

In-Person Testing Day: Optimize Your Ride
For those who want hands-on experience, Triathlon BC is also hosting an in-person aerodynamic testing day with GiBLI, where participants will have the opportunity to test the GiBLI G10 sensor and analyze their real-time aerodynamics. Participants require an on-bike power meter to take part in the session.
What to Expect:
- Personalized aerodynamic assessments
- Direct comparisons of different riding positions and/or equipment
- Insights into how small adjustments can lead to big time savings
Date: May 10th.
2hr testing time slots available: 9am, 11am, 1pm.
Location: Vancouver – Likely Iona but it may change.
Cost: $75
Only 6 spots available: 2 spots per time slot!
In-Person participants must attend the webinar, and must have an Annual Triathlon BC membership.
