Join Us for an Exciting Introductory Paratriathlon Clinic!

Are you interested in trying a new and rewarding sport? Whether you’re an aspiring athlete or just curious about adaptive multisport, our Introductory Paratriathlon Clinic is the perfect opportunity to learn, train, and connect with the triathlon community!

The Paratriathlon Clinic is Triathlon BC’s one day clinic designed for individuals who are new to paratriathlon. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete looking to try multisport, this clinic will give you exposure to the sport of triathlon and provide the confidence to allow you to take on your first triathlon event!

Who Should Attend?

The clinic is open to participants, ages 14+, who have a physical disability/impairment or visual impairment, from beginners to seasoned Para athletes interested in the sport of triathlon.

Hosted at the University of British Columbia, this clinic includes adaptive sports activities, including Pilates/yoga, swimming, cycling, and running/pushing. Athletes should have some previous swim/bike/run experience.

What to Expect

  • Learn from the Experts: Classroom introduction to the sport of triathlon, the performance pathway and the athlete classification process.
  • Swim, Bike, and Run Basics: Coached clinics in swimming, cycling, running/wheelchair pushing and triathlon transitions.
  • Equipment Guidance: Learn about adaptive gear options and modifications, and have access to adaptive equipment.
  • Community and Support: Connect with fellow athletes and discover resources to continue your journey.
  • Lunch included! All this AND a free lunch!
