With over 25,000 monthly visitors, the Triathlon BC website has become the ultimate hub for multisport athletes seeking safe, fair, and exciting events across the province. The “Sanctioned by Triathlon BC” seal guarantees that an event has met our rigorous standards. This includes a comprehensive review of swim, bike, and run courses, medical and emergency plans, safety measures, and volunteer support, ensuring adherence to World Triathlon, Triathlon Canada, and Triathlon BC regulations. Sanctioned events benefit from continuous technical support, professional guidance, and expert advice.
When you sanction an event with Triathlon BC, you can expect:

All bids will be carefully reviewed by Triathlon BC’s Sanction Committee, with the announcement of BC Championship or Series designations on or before December 1, 2024.
BC CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT BIDS Provincial Championships are our marquee events that cater to gender and age-categories across the spectrum (e.g., male/female 20-24, 25-29, etc.). Age Group Champions will earn the prestigious Provincial Championship title in their respective categories, and will be provided custom Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for all podium age group finishers, all of which are supplied by Triathlon BC.

- Long Distance Triathlon

BC SUPERSERIES EVENT BIDS: Triathlon BC’s SuperSeries is a high-performance, draft-legal provincial series designed for aspiring athletes aiming for Olympic success. Since its inception, the SuperSeries has grown in competition level and has consistently attracted top talent from across British Columbia and neighboring provinces. U23 racers were added to the Series, increasing an already competitive environment. Triathlon BC proudly celebrates SuperSeries alumni who have advanced to represent Canada on the international stage, competing in Continental Cups, World Cups, Pan Am Games, World Championships, and even contesting Olympic berths.
WESTERN SERIES: In collaboration with Triathlon Alberta and Triathlon Saskatchewan, Triathlon BC launched the inaugural Western Canadian Series in 2024. The first event in BC saw a record number of participants! The Western Series has become a vital feeder to the National Development Series, offering exceptional racing opportunities and drawing top competitors from neighboring provinces.
