Sport BC invites YOU to nominate a deserving multisport candidate for the 57th Annual Athlete of the Year Awards — Canada’s longest-running amateur sport celebration!
This prestigious event will take place on March 6, 2025 at the Hotel Vancouver and will be hosted by CBC’s own Scott Russell. It’s an incredible opportunity to honor British Columbians who’ve made waves on the provincial, national, and international sports stage.
16 Recognition Categories – Nominate someone who inspires excellence and represents the spirit of sport! Please consider your nominee’s accomplishments from 2024. To highlight more BC sport stories, Sport BC will select three finalists per category, except for the Post-Secondary Award (five finalists), and the Daryl Thompson and Harry Jerome Awards (one recipient each).
