Three days of competitions, five different triathlon events = 2022 BC Summer Games.

West Lake Provincial Park provided a beautiful backdrop for the triathlon races and the Eagle and her two juveniles kept watch, and cheered, the races from their nest on the race course.  The BC Summer Games volunteers were amazing and did not skip a beat when asked to take on new roles. Thank you to all of the triathlon volunteers.

The zone coaches from all over the province, many of whom were attending BC Games for their first time, were outstanding and came together to form one big triathlon family.  The athletes were well cared for the entire weekend and had the opportunity to learn new skills from the many talents within the coaching team.

Finally, Congratulations to all athletes for their hard efforts over the entire weekend.  We witnessed athletes take on a new challenge within each event, and with grit and determination, competed to the end. After these games, each of you now have 42 new triathlon friends to connect with in the future and a lifetime of memories from the past three days.
